Monday evening update

Stackpole Day 1

The children are having a wonderful time and have settled in well.

On arrival in Stackpole, they all tucked into a hearty lunch before heading down to Broadhaven beach to explore and play beach games.  Afterwards, they played on the wooden low ropes course at the centre.

Tea was sausages (pork or veggie) with potatoes and  carrots (with some opting for second helpings!) followed by ice-cream.  Everything was eaten up!

The children had a calm evening writing diaries, chatting and reading and rested well.

Today the groups are completing their coastal walk, all around the headland from Stackpole Quay to Barafundle Bay.  Hopefully they will spot some seals and porpoises!  They are also experiencing rock-climbing and abseiling at a disused quarry on the Stackpole Estate.
