Last Day

Sorry for the lack of upload but today has been an incredibly busy day! It’s hard to believe that it’s our last day. There are mixed feelings of excitement to come home and sadness at leaving the farm. We’ve truly had an absolutely amazing time!
A really good night’s sleep last night with a couple of rooms not waking up until 8am! A delicious breakfast of French toast an another brilliant morning of farm jobs. Everyone was really excited to complete the last two jobs of their carousel. Some really keen to pick their favourite horse and finally be able to join in with the ‘which horse is the best’ conversation; others waiting to have their chance to bottle feed the lambs.
And then, one of the highlights of the trip, farm Olympics. Our teams competed in a wide range of challenges- from dress the farmer- to the water race- to name just a few. It was absolutely amazing to watch the teams work together and cheer each other on. We wait with baited breath to find out which team are the winners.
We went on a final walk in the farm before coming up to our rooms to shower.
We are looking forward to our final Jamie’s Farm dinner before a celebration bonfire.
Oh- the picture today is from one of the stand out highlights of the trip- the chickens! No, really- the chickens!
