Our homework this week is based on our science learning this term of forces. Watch the following video Science/Physics KS2/KS3: Will gears let children pull a piano uphill with their bikes? - BBC Teach and complete the following tasks.

1. Draw a diagram that shows what gears are and what happens when one gear turns another gear.
2. Explain how gears work in a bike.
3. Find other items in your house that use gears.
