Homework due in Wednesday 9^th November

Our class topic is Benin. Before the half term holiday, we researched what life was like in Benin and created a leaflet advertising a holiday there. For your homework, I would like you to use the knowledge that you gained about Benin and your knowledge of persuasive writing features (modal verbs, imperative verbs, rhetorical questions, superlatives, exaggeration) to create a poster advertising Benin. Remember- posters are bright and colourful, with pictures and small snippets of writing which will persuade onlookers to want to travel there. It is up to you how you present your poster- if you draw or use technology.
