Please can the homework be completed on a separate piece of paper to their homework book.
I look forward to seeing the whacky, odd plants!
The following spellings are to be practised for the test on 23.6.23
Good afternoon Chestnut Class!
First of all, well done to the year 4s for an excellent time at Braeside and the year 5s for being such excellent role models to the year 3s this week! An excellent week had by all... I can't wait to hear about your trip to Westonbirt on Monday.
After a busy week, your home for this week is TTRockstars.
Timestables are incredibly important and feed into so many different concepts in maths!
I would like everyone to spend 30 minutes on TTrockstars - on any of the sections, such as garage, soundcheck or jamming.
Have a lovely weekend.

Please find attached the spellings this week - test date the 25th of May

Good morning Chestnut Class!
Please find your homework attached below, but a paper copy has been sent home as well. This week, you'll be making a moon dial to explore the different phases. This homework will begin this week and you need to record the phases of the moon over the duration of the week and into the Easter holiday.
Try and record it each day quickly or alternately every two days, but don't leave it too long... as you may not see the pattern!
I have also attached your spellings below.
Good afternoon Chestnut Class.
I hope you have had a lovely few days and hopefully I’ll return to class soon!
In Science this week, you have been learning about day and night and this is going to support our English work over the next two weeks.
To consolidate your learning further, please complete the BBC Bite size quizzes - Day and night - BBC Bitesize
Watch the two videos and then have a go at the quizzes. Some of you may want to create a small model to help you understand it further, but this is your choice.
As previously mentioned, this learning will be vital along with your Science lesson this week, to support your English.
Have a lovely weekend.

Please find below the spellings for this week and the homework.
The children have learnt equivalent fractions before, but may need some help to look back over some examples (see the top of the homework). The challenge is only for those children who would like to complete it.
