Oak Class Homework due in 10th November

This week we have expanded our ‘Nature Detectives’ topic to think about animals around the world. For your homework, I would like you to research any animal that you like and write a fact file for it.

Year 1s -this could be just one fact about your animal with a picture.

Year 2s- if you would like a challenge try to create a fact file with subheadings and sentences under your subheadings.

For example, if I picked a tortoise.

Tortoises have tough scaly skin and sharp claws so that they can burrow underground. They have a hard outer shell to protect themselves from predators and a sharp beak for cutting leaves.

Tortoises are herbivores, which means that they only eat plants. Some tortoises can eat fruits but most survive mostly on leaves.
