Year 5+6:
Science: Find out all about Carl Linnaeus by reading the attached information sheet carefully. Then be the teacher and write 5 or more comprehension questions based on the text for me to complete! Try to vary the type of questions you ask me? Your questions could be about facts from the text; getting me to explain the meaning of a word, or find a word that means a given definition...
Don't forget to include an answer sheet for me to check my answers with at the end - wish me luck!

Year 5 (and Year 6 optional): The 8th May 2025 is the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE Day). In the assembly, we looked at how the people of Box celebrated this day and Sycamore, Chestnut and Beech interviewed John Hunt who lived in Box during World War 2. For homework I would like you to explore what Box was like during the Second World War by going on a trail round Box (see attached sheet and map of Box from 1939).
