Sycamore Homework Week 5 28.3.25
Published 26/03/25, by Katie AshtonYear 6 only: Revision book homework: a copy of this term's revision book timetable can be found below.
Year 5 +6:
1) Easter Egg Decorating Competition: This Easter we are holding an egg decorating competition! Simply decorate a hard-boiled egg or, if you don’t want to waste the egg, a blown egg shell (instructions here).
How you decorate is completely up to you. You may want to create something on an Easter theme, create your favourite characters from books, film or TV, or create scene- it's completely up to you! (Look here for ideas.)
The eggs will be judged on creativity and eggs-secution. Think about how your eggs will stand up on display - you may need to create a small stand using a cardboard tube.
Please bring your competition entries into school on Thursday 3rd April, where we will set up an eggs-citing gallery in the hall for all to view at 3.30 pm. Winners will be announced at the Easter Service on Friday 4th April.
All entries will be returned on Friday 4th April.
2) Church Easter Egg Challenge - Next week, we have the Church Egg challenge. See details in the attachment below. All resources need to be brought in for Monday 31st March.
3) Continue your Moon diary. Please bring this in to show next week in science.
