We've had a brilliant first full day on the farm! After breakfast, we did our first farm jobs; for some this was handling the horses and getting them ready for the farrier, for others, it was wood chopping. There was also craft, cooking and farming. Each child will get to take part in each activity throughout the week. Our chefs prepared us a delicious lunch of chicken fajitas and then it was an afternoon of den building. As you can see, the children worked well as a team to create stylish detached dens with a view into the Welsh countryside- a great home for anyone. Many of the dogs joined us for the trip to the woods too and, as what always happens, it's great to see the children who aren't confident with dogs clamouring to have a turn taking them for a walk. 

We're now back in our rooms for evening showers before dinner and a film tonight.
