It was a good night. Though it took a while for a couple of rooms to settle, all had a good night’s sleep and woke up fresh at 7am. At our morning check-in, all children rated themselves highly for how they were feeling- though they may have to do with the two course breakfast they had just eaten, including sausages, eggs and beans.

The children were all very excited to complete their first farm jobs this morning- some with horses, some gardening, some chopping wood etc.  We’ve just had a delicious lunch of pizza and are off to The Forest of Dean- just across the river- to build dens!
