Sycamore Class Homework 13.6.25

This week has been our Religions and World Views week based on the question 'What do religions and world views teach us about how we should treat each other?'. For your homework I would like you to choose one of the following activities:

1) Create a Mini-Poster or Artwork: Design a small poster or piece of artwork called “Bridge of Beliefs.”
Include:

  • A bridge connecting people from different backgrounds.

  • Words or quotes from religions/worldviews (e.g. “Love your neighbour”, “We all share the same human spirit”).

  • Symbols of kindness, fairness, or unity.

2) Interview & Report

Ask a parent or family member:

  • “What do you believe about how we should treat others?”

  • “Do any religious or personal values help you decide what’s right?”

Then write a short paragraph about what they said and how it connects to what you’ve learned.

3) Write a Diary Entry Think about the story Tusk Tusk. Imagine you are one of the peaceful elephants from the story.
Write a diary entry about:

  • What you saw happen to the black and white elephants.

  • How it felt to live in fear or hide away.

  • Why peace, respect and kindness matter for the future.
