Lines are drawn on the Rec, children in coloured t-shirts and rubber eggs left lying around school- that can only mean one thing: sports day!

What a brilliant sports day we had today! The children all raced incredibly well and the atmosphere was amazing!!! A special well done to our Reception children who all enjoyed their first ever sports day; embracing the brilliant sporting attitude that we are used to seeing. Everyone was cheering everyone- their team or not- and wanted everyone to do their best. And boy did they! Our Year 6s were great ambassadors and did an excellent job of looking after their team. Another huge thank you to everyone who was able to come and support us and to our Year 7 sports leaders who must’ve run a marathon by the end! It’s always a day to remember- congratulations to red team for their win though there were only 4 points between 2^nd and 4^th place. I can’t remember a sports day that was this close before!
